I just know when this look good and when they taste good! Now I've Learned that a Verrine is "  an appetizer or dessert that consists of a number of components layered artfully in a small glass. (The word verrine refers to the glass itself; literally it means "protective glass.") Just a note about the Pie Sign.. That is from Round America, Bill and Barbara Windsor's brain child, which is "a comprehensive source of vacation and roadtrip information. It's now a directory, a magazine, and a place where travelers can share trip tips" But my favorite part is the PIE REPORT.  On their great American Adventure to travel around the country taking pictures, and eating pie they partook of over 147 different pies and ranked them which wouldn't be complete without their Best list. You'll have to go to their website to find out for yourself. But I will tell you that the next time I  go to Hobe Sound, Fl I will definitely be stopping at

These Yummy Cupcakes are the creations of Halima Washington. Halima is an artist who lives in Atlanta, Georgia and paints with a combination of a palette knife and a brush. She "loves using the impasto technique because she wants the viewer to be aware of the paint and her passion for it and  wants people to see everyday ordinary objects and surroundings as extraordinary". Halima has a beautiful blog SMALL WORKS that is full of her magnificent pieces of work.
